I always felt that we were doing pretty good on our database of Michigan Odonata. Last week I entered the remaining specimens from Julie and Darrin into our MOS database, and went over 25,000 records. That's pretty darn good for a group like the Odonata. A lot of states (in fact, most) do not have a specimen-level database that is the equal of ours. I suspect only Ohio has this much data.
So, allow me to gloat a bit -- this was done on a shoestring.
